To provide you with a richer communication experience, the App is now accessible both on your phone and your computer. The desktop app and web app are computer-based extensions of the account on your phone. The messages you send and receive are fully synced between your phone and your computer, and you can see all messages on both devices. Any action you take on the phone will apply to the app on your computer and vice versa.
The app is available in over 40 languages (up to 60 on Android). As a general rule, it follows the language of your phone. If you change the language of your phone to Spanish, the app will automatically be in Spanish.
To change your phone's language, please follow these steps:
- On Android: Go to your phone's Settings app > Languages & input > Languages > tap and hold a language to position it at the top, or tap Add a language.
- On iPhone: Go to your phone's Settings app > General > Language & Region > iPhone Language > tap on a language > Done.
- On Windows Phone: Go to your phone's Settings app > Time & language > Language > tap and hold a language to move it up until it's positioned at the top, or tap Add languages.
In the unfortunate case that your phone becomes lost or stolen, we can help make sure that no one can use your app account.
Lock your SIM card. You should call your mobile provider as soon as possible to lock your SIM card. It will then not be possible to verify the account on that phone again, as you must be able to receive SMS or phone calls to verify an account.
Use a new SIM card with the same number to activate the app on your new phone. This is the fastest way to deactivate your account on the stolen phone. The app can only be activated with one phone number on one device at a time.
Two-step verification is an optional feature that adds more security to your account. When you have two-step verification enabled, any attempt to verify your phone number on the app must be accompanied by the six-digit PIN that you created using this feature.
To enable two-step verification, open Settings > Account > Two-step verification > Enable.
